Can You Google with the Sherpas?

 Ladies and Gentlemen,

In today's post, I issue a direct challenge. Here it is. * Ask questions before you give up.

Other current favorites include: Breakout GamesYouiDrawGamestar Mechanic, and Math Games.

If you'd like some help with YouiDraw, click here for some great YouTube videos!

If you'd like to try the Pixlr Editor app, you can find videos to help here.

When the new Portfolio Template (with badging!) comes out, you'll definitely want to take part. In order to do so, you'll need the following:

1. A complete portfolio (the current version). Use this post to determine if your portfolio is complete. It shows exactly which pages you need to have complete, and ideas about what tools and resources you can select to show proof of your learning.

2. Once your portfolio is truly complete, you submit the link to your current home page using this form. You will receive feedback if your portfolio is complete but not quite ready for some reason.

3. Once your portfolio has been approved by Mr. Moore, you will receive an invitation to participate in the new portfolio/badging BETA group. The invitation may arrive through your guestbook, or possibly through your gmail account.

4. In order to be part of the badging leaderboard, where your achievements and badges will be shared with the school, you'll need an avatar! Some resources for creating yours can be found in the directions you receive. Please make sure that your avatar is VERY school-appropriate at all times.

5. Finally, you can begin to work on your new portfolio! Add pages, create drawings, and start earning badges! This new portfolio works in a completely different way, so stay tuned for more information to come!

~ Mr. Moore

*PS - The McGlone Course Book activity is copied directly from the Tech Sherpas. The real thing can be found here for any visitors over 13, and it is highly recommended!
