WeVideo and Tinkercad...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This week, we will begin with a WeVideo tutorial, and then we try Tinkercad.

WeVideo

Step 1: Get your account. Click on the link below for your grade level.

CLICK HERE 3rd Grade  |   CLICK HERE 4th Grade  |  CLICK HERE 5th Grade

Step 2: Complete the tutorial. In WeVideo, click on the question mark button in the top right corner (next to the bell icon and your profile image.) You will make a video called Candy Knights, which will show the world your video skills!

Step 3: Use these tutorials to help you make your video even more amazing! Check out all the things you can do with WeVideo!

Step 4: Add the video you make in the tutorial (shared correctly) to your portfolio. Make sure to add writing and a link so we know what you learned.

Step 1: Sign in correctly. Here's the Drive file of the sign-in video (just in case the video below doesn't work.)

Step 2: I love creating original files, but you might choose to begin with a spinner file and then customize it. Looking for something different? Try this link. You need to customize the spinner in some way - I won't print anything that isn't at least partially original work. We'd love to have Lobos or McGlone or wolf head custom spinners! Need some help? Check the tutorials! Also, it doesn't have to be a spinner! Try something else!

Step 3: To get your idea into your drive, click: Export --> Download for 3D Printing --> .STL

Step 4: Name the file with the your graduation year, the first part of your Google sign in, and a word to describe the file. An example might look like this: 2025_cmoore_spinner

Step 5: In Drive, share the file (Make sure the share settings allow comments. This is how we will revise your work and get it ready to print) and add it to this folder. Open the folder, then click: New --> File Upload. Choose your file and make sure it is named and shared correctly.

Step 6: Make sure that your file or a screenshot of your file is on your portfolio with writing and a link to the tools you used. I will not print anything that isn't on your portfolio!

I can't wait to see what you make!

~ Mr. Moore
